Excellent verbal skills, fluent in English & Afrikaans

• Good planning and organizational skills
• Good Excel skills
• Professional telephone skills / telesales skills
• Ability to make cold calls and set up appointments for the team
• Ability to co-ordinate diaries and make appointments sensibly and logically according to geographical location of team members / CEO (they travel extensively)
• Assist with PA function
• 6 month contract with possibility to go permanent
• Willing to assist team with projects and ad hoc requests

Broker Consultant - Short Term Insurance
R20,000 Per Month Basic Plus Commission And Benefits

Permanent skilled level position in the Financial (Insurance) industry.
Benefits: Medical Aid & Provident Fund.

A sales driven, relationship focused and motivated candidate with minimum 3 years commercial AND personal short term insurance experience required for company in Bedfordview.

Your previous experience as a BROKER CONSULTANT essential.
Minimum 60 FAIS credits required to qualify for this position.  Working towards additional qualification highly advantageous.

Previous Insurer sales experience an advantage.
You will be responsible for:
*  Maintaining set service levels with existing brokers and develop new business
*  Manage, improve and maintain new and existing relationships with brokers
*  Increase existing broker base
*  Supply and maintain info for quotes on new business
*  Market pesonal lines and commercial products to brokers
*  Negotiate book transfers

·        General policy administration of Commercial Business which includes issuance of new policies and amendments
